With Hawaii’s predominant easterly trade winds, it rains pretty much every day along the north-south oriented Ko’olau mountain range in central Oahu. This is not a good thing if you want to play golf in Mililani, or at Schofield’s leilehua golf course in the afternoon.
But, it IS a very good thing if you like to take pictures of rainbows.
This is a pretty well formed rainbow up over the mountains. Wheeler Army Airfield, and Kam Highway are in the foreground.
I hope you enjoy this Hawaii Picture of the day.
